Second Grade Printmaking Stencils

Second-grade students explored and identified the printmaking process of stenciling by making their own stencils to print. They were inspired by the French graffiti street art of Blek le Rat, The Black Rat, as they analyze how to create rhythm in their work. They also viewed the works of Betye Saar and Keith Harring.
